Westfield Century City

When considering the public spaces in Los Angeles where I had hoped to one day have an art installation, Westfield Century City was the top of my client bucket list. The Westfield in Century City is so much more than a beautiful outdoor mall, it is a destination where people go to dine, to see films, to gather and sure... I suppose some go to shop. It is just a beautiful place to be and I had always thought that the experience could be enhanced with a few more art pieces. Little did I know that one day I would have 3 billboards of artwork there! 

I wanted to meet the scale of this installation with 3 custom illustrations that celebrated the beauty and iconic views of Los Angeles. A refuge of warmth and beautiful views that encourage guests to pause from the hustle and bustle and savor the moment. 

"It is easy to lose sight of the incredible beauty that surrounds us when we spend most of our days staring at screens. These illustrations of Los Angeles remind us to look up and see the breathtaking views that radiate in every direction. If we make the time to rise above the noise there is beauty waiting to be discovered.

These three illustrations; City of Angles, Palisades Park Polygons and La La Lights
showcase Los Angeles landmarks and iconic views in vibrant and reimagined ways. From the mountain peaks that frame the DTLA skyline, to the Palisade Park steps that wind their way along the Santa Monica Bluffs to the enchanting and historical Hollywood sign - this city is full of breathtaking moments.
