Hidden Lake is located in Glacier National Park, in Montana. Surrounded by numerous peaks, including Bearhat Mountain to the southwest, Dragons Tail to the south, Clements Mountain to the north, and Reynolds Mountain to the east.

For this painting I chose an asymmetrical composition that really showcased the layers and jagged angles of the mountains. In the foreground we chose to include some low poly rock formations to counter balance the feature of Bearhat Mountain. The sprinkling of trees throughout the painting help create depth of field while the shadows and highlights across the lake and golden fields make the painting almost look 3 dimensional.
