Tofino is a breathtaking and rugged place located off of the West Coast in Canada. Known for its lakes, inlets and ancient rainforest, this charming town has a way of captivating your attention. The cold western winds almost shape the landscape and offer year-round surfing along the peninsula of the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. 

For this painting I chose to keep the palette more cool toned and natural with highlights of orange and pink to create some hot spots. The layers of the landscape and stormy clouds hovering above help to capture the essence of Tofino - rugged and wild yet beautiful.
