Western Brook Pond is a Canadian fjord located in Gros Morne National Park on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland. My clients hiked this stunning trail and wanted to turn their memories of the location into a family keepsake to cherish. 

We decided to keep the rocks in the foreground with the mountains and inlet in the background to help create depth and a sense of scale. I am really happy with how crisp the hard edges are in this painting and the visual contrast between the organic foreground and geometric background.
